i've just gotta share this place with you

growing up, i spent a whole lotta saturdays wandering through antique stores and design shops with my mom. so it should come as no surprise that that still remains one of my very favorite past times. some places i go specifically to window shop because, let's face it, money isn't exactly growing on trees for me right now. but there are a few places that i make it my business to visit on a very regular basis because the deals are good and the spaces get me totally inspired to be creative. one such place is toad hall! i visited just this morning after a friend told me about some fun new pillows. i'm working on a little re-vamp later so of course i had to check them out!

now don't be fooled by that frog sprawled out across the front of the building-you are not about to enter some alice in wonderland type situation. toad hall is full of fun, affordable old and new pieces with a little flair and a lot of color. right up my alley!

here are some of the things i swooned over today:

i love tole trays-so girly!

really fun for a corner right? the knobs are pretty great too

this guy right here was half off making it a whopping 200 bux-i might be headed back for this one

i don't have a birthday coming up or anything, but i'm sure you could think of a reason to get these glasses for me :)

what a fun light fixture this would be. over a breakfast table maybe?

ok now you're gunna have to trust me on this little settee. don't be blinded by the grandma candlesticks and the fringe-tastic pillows. this could be cool!

and i can't forget eleanor hastings' fun space at toad hall. you can't miss it. it's tucked in a corner right before you walk upstairs. i know eleanor from my stationery days when she had a fantastic paper line. so it's only fitting that she has fantastic finds in her booth! i'm still laughing over the framed works she has over her bar set-up.

retro & daper bar accessories for the gentelman or mad men fan in your life

someone is for sure gunna need to paint this a lacquered white or geranium color i'm thinkin'

love it!

do you feel bombarded by pictures yet!? sorry! just had to share every little thing! headed to my sweet friend angel's place downtown for some rearranging. pictures to come! oh & one last find from toad hall...he looks like an alfred to me, dontcha think?
